TPM celebrates its 25th anniversary

This year TPM celebrates its 25th anniversary. The educational project of TPM started in 1991 with the aim of transmitting all the knowledge from the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona and other centres to all around the world. At the beginning the University of Barcelona was the contributor. Then other non-profit organizations like Fundació Bosch I Gimpera, Formació Continuada “Les Heures”, IL3 and finally DTI Foundation appeared.

Spanish and international teachers with experience and success in their professional life, had transmitted all of their passion and thanks to other professionals. TPM has been worldwide, firstly Spain, then Latin America, Eastern Europe, The Middle East, Asia and ultimately Africa.

We want to highlight the human team, the TPM family, who work every day in order to improve the transplantations around the world. To all of them, thanks and congratulations. Hope we will celebrate more years!

Martí Manyalich President of ISODP

Within the last Congress ISODP (Seoul) I started my term as President of the International Society for Organ Donation and Procurement (ISODP) until the next congress in Geneva ISODP September 2017.

It is an honor to represent all the organization of “International Society for Organ Donation and Procurement” and all his scientific and clinical research worldwide.

I hope that together with the whole family TPM-DTI, all the professionals and the willingness of patients who are waiting for transplants, we may collaborate and continue walking forward.
