Visit of the 3rd Xiangya Hospital delegation to Spanish Institutions

We are delighted to inform that on 6-8 February 2017, a delegation of experts of 3rd Xiangya Hospital (Changsha, China) leaded by the Prof. Dr. Ming Yingzi have visited Spain in order  to participate in a “knowledge exchange program in organ donation” promoted  by DTI Foundation.

They visited the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona (Barcelona) and the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre (Madrid) with the aim to promote the best practice exchange through cross-cultural sharing. As well, the  Changsha delegation attended meetings with specialists in deceased donation (DBD + DCD), brain death diagnosis and renal, liver, and pancreas transplantogy.

Moreover, the delegation visited the Spanish National Organization (ONT), the Catalan Transplant Organization (OCATT) and our headquarters in order  to get a complete overview of the Spanish Model of Organ Donation and Transplantation.
