Last Friday, we had the privilege of attending the university event on organ donation and transplantation held at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona. The day kicked off with talks from professors and doctors from the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, along with the heartfelt participation of transplant patients, living donors, and the touching testimony of a family that generously gave consent for the organ donation of a loved one.

The day concluded reflectively by analyzing excerpts from movies and series that address the theme of donation and transplantation, followed by a critical reflection on their representation, whether positive or negative. To wrap up, the last group of students organized a trivia game that tested the knowledge acquired in the subject, providing a fun and educational closure for all attendees. For the DTI Foundation, it was an honor to attend this day to support and learn from these future healthcare professionals.
