A total of 95 healthcare professionals from the United Arab Emirates attended a three-day Transplant Procurement Management (TPM) course this weekend.

The course was divided into a day of theoretical knowledge, a second day of workshops on donor detection, donor management, family approach and clinical cases; and a third day focusing on DCD (donation after cardiac death)) The course was held at Khalifa University, where participants had the opportunity to learn with simulation equipment.

It was an honor to work with MOHAP (Ministry of Health and Prevention), DHA (Department of Health Abu Dhabi), DOH (Department of Health Dubai), SEHA (Abu Dhabi Health Services) and KU (Khalifa University). International experts such as Marcelo Cantarovich (President of TTS), Kristina Frank (OPO Nurse Coordinator) and Father Davis Chiramel (Chairman and Founder of the Kidney Federation of India -KFI) also participated in the course.
