Pregnancy post transplant – Talk for transplanted people

DTI presented yesterday a talk which gave patients the opportunity to talk about their experiences pre and post transplant. This month we talked about pregnancy post transplant.

The talk hosted both doctors and patients. Javier Arredondo, President of AETHA and liver recipient, was invited to share his experience through the transplantation process. There were two doctors from Hospital Clinic de Barcelona invited too: Dr. Pedro Ventura, from the Nefrology and Kidney Transplant Deparment; and Dr. Paredes, donation and transplantation coordination, was also the moderator for this session.

These Talks present the opportunity for patients, families and friends to share their experiences and ask professionals about their doubts. These conversations provide a warm and welcoming space for patients and their loved ones to discuss their experiences, advice on how to face these challenges, and tips alongside doctors, professionals, and members of the DTI Foundation.
