The 8th International Workshop on Uncontrolled & Controlled Donation After Circulatory Death (DCD) successfully ended on Friday. This course enabled 30 students from 11 countries to immerse themselves in theoretical concepts online before putting everything into practice during the final three days of the program at the Technological Training Centre (CTF) in A Coruña, Spain.

Throughout the course, participants had the opportunity to engage in various workshops, witnessing firsthand how organ recovery and ex-situ perfusion from DCD donors is performed, led by international experts in the field.

Special thanks to the partners that facilitated some wetlab sessions about NRP and organ preservation.
