Croatia hosted the EATCB 2023 Congress, a pivotal gathering for professionals in the field of tissue banking. Dr. Seow Huey Choy and Mr. Joaquim Albiol flew to Zagreb to learn about the latest developments in tissue banking.

One of the highlights of the congress was the new substances of human origin (SOHO) regulations which was just adopted by the European Parliament in September. Dr. Choy had the opportunity to perform an oral presentation to talk about the evolution of the international tissue banking and advanced therapies educational program in Europe.

As the EATCB 2023 Congress concludes its curtain call, the insights and connections forged during this gathering are set to drive meaningful progress in tissue banking and advanced therapies.
