Under our collaboration with the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation (SCOT) in the international program for the enhancement of the deceased organ donation system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, our team of experts has just finished the second visit to hospitals throughout the country.

Our esteemed healthcare professionals, guided by Dr. Brian Alvarez, Head of International Cooperation in DTI, and Dr. Manuel Wolf and Dr. Jose Luís Escalante, senior DTI consultants, played a crucial role in implementing effective organ donation policies and infrastructure. Their efforts are instrumental in the creation of in-hospital Organ Donation Units among the tertiary hospitals from the Eastern Region (Dammam), Western Region (Jeddah and Medina), Southern Region (Aseer and Gizan), and Central Region (Qassim and Riyadh).

We are delighted to continue our collaborative partnership with SCOT. Together, we hope to save lives by making significant strides in improving organ donation nationwide. This progress is a testament to our shared commitment and dedication.
