The International Society for Organ Donation and Procurement (ISODP) 2023 Congress took place in Las Vegas from October 19th to 21st. The event gathered experts from around the world.
Dr. Chloë Ballesté, Director of International Cooperation and Development; Dr. Brian Alvarez, Project Coordinator of International Cooperation and Development; and Mr. Joaquim Albiol, Project Coordinator of the R&D Department, presented DTI’s latest projects, courses, and services at the DTI stand during the congress. They shared DTI’s innovative work and dedication to advancing organ donation and transplantation worldwide.
Our experts also delivered presentations during the congress. They highlighted DTI’s 30-year journey in Training, they talked about the Tissue Banking and Advanced Therapies Training Program, as well as presenting their presence in KSA and UAE, where they have obtained their first 100 organ donors.
From DTI we are proud to announce that Dr. Brian Alvarez was elected as the European ISODP Councillor during the event. This recognition reflects his dedication and expertise in the field, and he actively participated in his first councillor meeting during the event.
During the congress, DTI organized a raffle at their stand demonstrating DTI’s commitment to spreading knowledge and fostering learning in the field.. The prize was a free registration for one of DTI’s courses. Amanda Cole from the United States won the raffle, Participating in the ISODP Congress allowed DTI to exchange knowledge with and learn from international professionals in the field. It was an pleasure seeing friends from around the world and being able to share experiences and learn from experts in the organ donation and transplantation community.
