We are delighted to have hosted a visit from a distinguished delegation comprising Öystein Jynge, Jenni Jarsäter, Cecilia Bååth, Maria Söderström, and Ylva Andreasson. They are all working as transplant coordinators at the Regionalt Donationscentrum (RDc), which serves as the Regional Donation Center in Stockholm.

They came to Barcelona to gain insights and knowledge on how to implement uncontrolled Donation after Circulatory Death (DCD) procedures in Sweden. Throughout their stay, they had the privilege of engaging with some of the most important institutions in the field of organ donation and transplantation. They visited Hospital Clínic, SEM (emergency ambulance service), and OCATT.

These collaborations are key to strengthening healthcare systems worldwide. It was a pleasure for DTI to accompany them during these days.
