Today we celebrated the closing ceremony for the 20th edition of the International Master in Donation and Transplantation of Organs, Tissues, and Cells at the University of Barcelona.

This ceremony has been a demonstration of the commitment and work of the 17 students, from 10 different countries, who have finalized the master degree.

The highlight of this event has been the presentation of Dr. Ali Al-Obaidli, Chairman of the UAE National Transplant Committee, who delivered a presentation covering insights into the results from the first 200 deceased organ donations in UAE, offering an overview of the progress and challenges the region has faced. He also emphasized importance of international cooperation.

The ceremony concluded with a closing speech from Dr. Martí Manyalich, President of the DTI Foundation. Dr. Manyalich thanked all the students, the faculty, and all those involved in the master’s program.
