The Donation and Transplantation Institute (DTI) together with the World Health Organisation (WHO), the China Organ Transplantation Development Foundation, the Zhejiang Medical Association and the First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University, all together organized in Hangzhou the 2nd International Course in Transplant Procurement Management (TPM) on December 2016 in Hangzhou. The aim of this event is the collaboration project between DTI Foundation and several Chinese Institutions to develop the voluntary deceased donation in the country.

The course brought together experts from Spain, Australia, Hong Kong, Iran and USA. Among others was Dr. Frank Delmonico, Academician of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences and Advisor to the World Health Organization.  A total of 96 Chinese doctors where trained about leading practice in organ donation and during the 3 days of the course they were instructed with knowledge and skills to be implemented in their hospitals. DTI wants to thanks to the local organisations for their support in the development of the course.
