At DTI, it is important to have a positive impact on the lives of chronically ill patients waiting for an organ transplant. To do so, we aim to ensure the training and specialization of thousands of healthcare professionals in the field of organ donation and transplantation.

By implementing global projects designed specifically for each country’s unique needs, we have trained more than 18,000 doctors and nurses in over 113 countries, and hope to only increase this number in the future… but we cannot do it alone. For this reason, we offer the opportunity for donors to fund individual scholarships or sponsor a project in another country, both of which will change the lives of many!

Scholarships:

It has been demonstrated that one of the key issues that improve donation and transplantation programs worldwide is the training of health professionals. DTI presents the opportunity to donate to fund scholarships used directly toward the training of individual medical professionals in the field of donation and transplantation.

By donating towards a scholarship, you will directly fund the training of a healthcare professional such as an intensivist, nurse, emergency doctor, anesthesiologist, etc. Through the training of medical professionals in this field, your donation will increase the number of transplants conducted, thus reducing the number of patients on long waiting lists.

Sponsorship:

On a broader scale, DTI offers sponsorship projects aimed at strengthening national healthcare systems within the organ donation and transplantation field in developing countries. These sponsorships target countries such as China, Brazil, Egypt, India, Mongolia, and many more.

We invite you to consider making a donation to one of our sponsorship projects, which will allow expert staff to take action in developing countries, creating customized action plans, training hospital staff on donation awareness, and more to ultimately raise donation rates in these countries.

We kindly thank our valued donors for their generosity and support.
