What we aim to do

During the last few years, DTI Foundation has organized a series of solidarity events opened to the public to raise awareness about organ donation and transplantation as well as to raise funds. The funds raised go directly to scholarships for the training of healthcare professionals worldwide, such as intensivists, nurses, emergency doctors, anesthesiologists, etc., in a TPM program.

We hope for the future to continue organizing many more solidarity events to raise funds that make possible such important scholarships. As a foundation, our mission is to save a million lives, but it cannot be done alone. We aim to save lives by funding scholarships and training enough healthcare professionals in the fields of organ and tissue donation and transplantation.

Events with fundació Nen Déu

In 2021, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Fundació Nen Déu on a solidarity concert at the Palau de la Música Catalana. This concert was led by performances from Escolania de Montserrat and Orquestra Simfònica del Vallés with soloists in both choirs.

Again in 2022, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Fundació Nen Déu on another solidarity concert. This year, a concert was organized in Basílica de Santa María del Mar where Escolania de Montserrat and Orquestra Simfònica Sant Cugat performed to raise money for both foundations.

With these events, Fundació Nen Déu and DTI Foundation aim to host an event in which audience members get to experience and appreciate music while simultaneously learning more and increasing their awareness of the missions of both organizations. DTI Foundation is proud to have partnered with Fundació Nen Déu and appreciates their help and support for these events.

Concert Luz de Gas

DTI Foundation is proud to have co-organized a solidarity concert in Luz de Gas in Barcelona, alongside four other notable nonprofit organizations. The goal of the solidarity concert is to raise public awareness about the different challenges we as a society face each day. Fundació Boscana, Kadiandú, and Recuérdame Alzheimer are foundations that DTI has had the honor of working with for this event. In November of 2022, the concert featured the band Por Fin Viernes who performed live during the event.

With this concert, DTI Foundation aimed to inform the public about the importance of organ donation. Due to the generosity of both the artists and the audience, DTI was able to raise money for future scholarships. Our hope for the future is that this concert will serve as a starting point for further training of healthcare professionals in the organ donation and transplantation field.

It is an honor to have worked alongside artists like Por Fin Viernes on this concert, and we give many thanks to their generosity in making this event possible. Spreading awareness about our mission is vital and requires the help and participation of the public. Therefore, it is through events like this that we are able to work toward saving one million lives.
